How Returns Dashboard works
The Returns Dashboard manages the reverse logistics flow — processing returned goods, inspecting condition, determining disposition, and restocking eligible inventory.
Each return is linked to its original order for traceability. Workers inspect returned items and assign dispositions: restock, quarantine, damage-out, or return-to-vendor. Restocked items flow back through the inventory ledger to update available quantities immediately.
Reason-code analytics roll up across returns to surface patterns — a sudden spike in a specific damage code might point to a packaging issue worth fixing upstream.
