How Order Management works

Order Management handles the complete lifecycle of customer orders — from creation through allocation, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery. It supports both manual order entry and integration-sourced orders.

The allocation engine checks available inventory and routes orders to the appropriate warehouse and carrier flow automatically. Once allocated, the system generates pick tasks and pushes them into the Task Center for floor workers.

Every status change — created, allocated, picked, packed, shipped, delivered — is captured as an event, so you always have a complete audit trail of what happened and when.
